BEWI will receive EUR 20 million in cash and a 15% stake in the new combined company. This merger, combining BEWI’s strength in food packaging with STOK’s extensive distribution network, opens up great growth potential, particularly in Denmark, Norway, Iceland, and Greenland.<\/p>\n

CEO Christian Bekken of BEWI ASA highlights the opportunity for further expansion and synergies through the merger with STOK Emballage, positioning BEWI for future success.<\/p>\n

“STOK is an ideal partner for our traded packaging business, and we are truly looking forward to join forces with their team of industry experts. They have an impressive track-record of profitable growth over several years, and their broad and diverse product portfolio complements ours very well, creating a strong potential for synergies and further growth opportunities,” Bekken continues.<\/p>\n

The deal is expected to close by early 2025.<\/p>\n

BEWI ASA is a leading European supplier of packaging, components, and insulation solutions, listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. It all began in 1980 when three entrepreneurs founded a small fish box factory on Fr\u00f8ya, producing boxes for the salmon farming industry.<\/p>\n
